Cover for your back. That is the whole idea.

The story

Great founders kept getting missed.

V6 started with a pattern that was hard to unsee. Year after year, in the Bay Area and far beyond it, we watched remarkable founders get passed over. They had working products, real customers and a deep understanding of what they were building.

Meanwhile, capital kept flowing to whoever was loudest that quarter. Follower counts were read as demand. Launch-day buzz was read as product-market fit. Too many investors had quietly started mistaking attention and noise for traction.

Attention isn't traction. Noise isn't signal.

The founders getting missed were usually the ones too busy building to perform. They didn't need a louder megaphone. They needed someone who could see the work, close the gaps around it and stand behind them in the rooms where money gets decided.

So we built V6 to do exactly that. We back real innovators, not people who want to be seen as innovators. We align them with investors who will understand them, roll up our sleeves on whatever is unfinished and keep covering their backs long after the introduction.

Today V6 aligns founders with capital. Tomorrow, V6 writes the check. Either way, the promise holds: we've got your six.

What we ignore

Noise

  • Follower counts
  • Launch-day hype
  • Press without users
  • Decks that out-design the product
  • Wanting to be seen as an innovator
What we look for

Signal

  • Something real, shipped
  • Customers who stay and pay
  • Founders who know their stack, risks and security
  • A plan for distribution, not just a product
  • Actually being an innovator

Three beliefs.

Signal over noise

We judge the work, not the volume around it.

Builders over performers

The best founders can build it and get it into the world.

Hands on, not hands off

We stand behind you every step, not just at the introduction.

Building something real? We've got your six.
