Introductions are not guarantees
An introduction to an investor, founder or company is not a guarantee of investment, funding, terms, valuation or any outcome. Investors make their own independent decisions.
No investment advice
Nothing on the Site or in our communications is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Investing in early-stage companies is highly risky and can result in the loss of the entire investment.
How we are paid
- Consulting services (talent, custom builds, security advisory, go-to-market, VC prep) are paid for with fees under a written agreement. We do not take equity for consulting services.
- Direct investments. Veil6 takes equity only when it invests directly in a company, under separate investment documents.
- Introductions and scouting. Veil6 is not paid for introductions or scouting, by founders or by investors, and receives no compensation tied to whether an investment happens. We are paid only for our services.
- Founder pairing. Pairing is free for candidates. When a candidate joins or co-founds with a venture through V6, V6 may bill that venture a fee for the recruiting service, under a separate agreement. Candidates never pay V6.
- Accelerator. Terms for the V6 Accelerator, including any fees, are set out in a separate agreement with each selected founder.
Conflicts of interest
Veil6, its founder and its affiliates may work with, advise or hold interests in companies and funds we introduce, and Michael Sedique holds roles at other companies, including Rhod AI and Silpa Companies. We aim to disclose material conflicts when they are relevant to an introduction.
Michael's writing and Substack
Michael publishes articles and a newsletter on Substack. That content is his personal commentary, is for general information only, and is not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice or an offer of securities. Substack, not V6, runs the subscription, sends the emails and handles subscriber data, so Substack's terms, privacy policy and unsubscribe controls apply to anyone who subscribes there. V6 does not sell paid subscriptions through this Site and does not send newsletters from it.

Third-party names
References to Y Combinator, a16z or other organizations describe companies backed by those firms that Michael has supported. They do not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those firms.
