Privacy policy
Effective October 9, 2026
This policy explains what information Veil6 ("V6", "we", "us") collects through veil6.com and any successor domain (the "Site"), how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use the forms on the Site (Submit your deck, Investors, Accelerator and Founder pairing), we store what you enter in a secure database hosted by Cloudflare: typically your name, email, company or firm, role, stage, focus areas, LinkedIn profile, skills, links (such as a deck) and your message. Only V6 can read submissions, through an access-controlled admin page.
- Information you send by email or LinkedIn. Anything you choose to share with us directly.
- Security information. To block spam and abuse, forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, and we keep a one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself), your country and browser type with each submission.
- Technical information. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) automatically receives standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, in order to deliver the Site. We also measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track individuals.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, passwords, financial account numbers, government identifiers or other sensitive personal information through the Site.
How we use information
- To review submissions and respond to you.
- To evaluate fit for VC alignment, introductions, scouting and consulting services.
- With your permission, to introduce founders and investors to each other.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site.
- To comply with law and protect our rights.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With investors or founders when you have asked for or agreed to an introduction. Decks and company materials are shared only with the founder's consent.
- For Founder pairing, with founders and ventures we believe are a fit, so they can consider you. We tell you before sharing your profile with a specific company.
- With service providers that help us run the Site and communicate with you (for example hosting and email), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of V6 or others.
- In connection with a merger, financing or sale of all or part of our business.
Confidentiality of founder materials
We treat decks and company materials you send us as confidential and use them only to evaluate and support your company. We do not sign NDAs at the evaluation stage, which is standard practice for investors and advisors, so please do not send trade secrets you are not prepared to share.
Retention
We keep submissions for as long as needed to evaluate them and maintain our relationship with you, then delete or anonymize them unless we must keep them by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access, correction or deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Other regions
If you are in the EU, UK or another region with similar laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, and to data portability. We process submissions on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries. Contact us to exercise your rights.

Michael's writing is published on Substack at sedique.substack.com. If you subscribe there, Substack collects and processes your information and sends the emails under its own Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and email practices. You manage or cancel subscriptions, and unsubscribe, directly with Substack. V6 does not receive your Substack subscriber details, and information you submit through our forms is not added to any mailing list.
