The opportunity
Take an important customer problem and own getting it solved with AI, from discovery to rollout and real adoption. Most of the job is running the engagement with executives and operators; the rest is hands-on technical work alongside the engineers.
A small, pre-seed AI company that embeds with customers to deploy AI on their most important workflows, pairing strategists who run the engagement with engineers who build the solution.
What you will do
- Work with executives and operators to map the workflow, the data, the exceptions and what an improvement is worth
- Set scope, priorities and success measures, and test solutions with engineers using customer data and APIs
- Own the plan, daily stakeholder updates and next steps that keep delivery moving
- Lead rollout, training and adoption, and measure whether the customer's work actually improves
- Turn field lessons into product decisions, deployment practices and tools for the next customer
What you bring
- Roughly 4 to 13 years of experience leading complex customer engagements, such as consulting, solutions or forward-deployed roles
- Comfort presenting to executives and navigating stakeholders and change management
- Enough technical depth to spend about a third of your time hands-on with engineers
- Willingness to work in person and travel to customer offices
Nice to have
- Experience deploying AI or data products inside large organizations
- Background in strategy consulting or a technical customer-facing role
Pay and benefits
- Salary range: $150,000 to $190,000 per year. This is the range the client expects to pay in good faith. The final amount depends on experience and other job-related factors.
