The opportunity
The first product manager at a fast-growing marketplace. You prototype with AI tools, live in the data, and make a genuinely complex buying experience feel simple, taking deep product work off the founder's plate.
A seed-stage New York marketplace that helps brands find, evaluate and buy sponsorships across sports and live events, a large market still run largely on email and spreadsheets. Major consumer brands and well-known teams and venues already use it, and it is backed by experienced sports-tech and marketplace investors.
What you will do
- Own the roadmap, turning customer feedback, data and company direction into a plan the team believes in
- Write short, specific specs engineers can build from
- Prototype working versions with AI tools before committing engineering time
- Dig into product data and turn it into decisions
- Run launches end to end and measure the results
- Partner with sales so field insight shapes the product
- Help build the product function and work with engineering and design
What you bring
- Roughly 2 to 5 years in product, ideally at an early-stage startup, marketplace or B2B SaaS company
- Real products shipped, with clear evidence of what changed because of your work
- The ability to prototype without waiting on design
- Strong analytics fluency and excellent product taste
- AI-native habits and real curiosity about new tools
- Ownership of large changes and patience for detail
- Web product depth
- Willingness to work in the office in New York five days a week
Nice to have
- Founder or engineer-turned-PM background
- Sports, live events, media buying or ad tech
Pay and benefits
- Salary range: $150,000 to $250,000 per year. This is the range the client expects to pay in good faith. The final amount depends on experience and other job-related factors.
